Interested in having an author or illustrator visit your school?

With our ongoing goal to promote literacy and the creative process within our schools we provide a FREE service by bringing an author or illustrator to your school. We work with some of the most popular and new children’s authors and illustrators from around the country and locally. The authors’ literary works range from picture books to novels, so, we are likely to find you an author suitable for any grade level. Each author or illustrator will come to your school and do a number of presentations and, then, autograph each child’s book.

In order to schedule an author please contact us via phone or email and we will send you a detailed sheet of upcoming dates available. The detailed sheet will contain information on the author’s books, honorarium costs, appropriate age levels, etc. Some of the authors we work with are located on this website with a brief description of their works. Once you find an author or illustrator you are interested in, we will provide you with the essentials to make the event as successful as possible. We will provide you with a student order form for the school to duplicate and send home with the children. We will provide you with biographical and website information on the author or illustrator. We can send your school advance copies of the author’s books so that your school can familiarize the students with their work. And, last but not least, we will provide your school with all the books you will need, paperback and hardcover, to sell. A portion of those sales will go back to the school.
